"The student body is extremely accepting of gender and sexual orientations, and almost all of them are represented. Other than that, it's mostly just white kids and Indians who act like white kids. The student body is also VERY anti-religious. I know multiple people who were made fun of for praying at the flag pole before class last year. So, basically, feel free to be diverse. But if you want to be open about your religious beliefs, you may want to reconsider."

"Honestly depends on the teacher... We definitely have the crazies, the ones who don't know how to teach, the ones who hate teenagers, the ones who just give out As, the ones who will make you work hard but somehow teach you more than you could possibly learn, and the ones who will utterly and completely change your life and your outlook."

"I went to the academy of veterinary science and I can honestly say Koehler is the best teacher I have ever had in the 12 years of schooling. He was thorough, and very fun to be around. He taught me so many things and I'm beyond grateful for everything he's done."

"I can't say that I had the best experience at this school. After all, it is still high school. There was the teen angst, the depressive episodes, the anxiety attacks, the identity crises, and all of those other fun things associated with neurodivergent people. I don't have the fondest memories of this school, but I can without a doubt say that it could have been a lot worse. I think the one thing I would have done differently is I would have gone into a different academy, but it's really difficult to decide what path you're interested in pursuing when you're 13, so I guess I'm just one of those people who got the short end of the stick in that respect. My biggest advice to anyone entering this school is that input = output. If you get involved in athletics, music, clubs, etc., you'll make lasting friendships and relationships with your advisers and have plenty of memories to reminisce about and everything, but if you're only there for the education - you go to school in the morning, attend your classes, and go home every day at 2:56 - then that's what you'll get. A good education. Which isn't a bad thing, either, just don't expect for the other stuff to fall into your lap."
