"My experience with this school has been neither bad nor good. Generally, I like school, and I enjoy being challenged by hard classes. Unfortunately, many of the classes at CHS are just filler classes, meaning that no work really gets done. It makes me feel unsatisfied with the education I am receiving. I think that the sports teams are very selective. On certain teams you are basically guaranteed a varsity spot if you have connections, rather than ability. For others, no matter how hard they work, they will never reach varsity, even as a senior. You can also not expect to get much attention from the school unless you are field hockey, football, or wrestling. In CHS, the overall atmosphere is not so great. Students are wearing clothes that are against the dress code, saying inappropriate things, and acting out in the hallways or class. None of this is being taken care of by administration, so it is just continuing."

"In my experience at Collingswood High School, the teachers were mediocre. Some went above and beyond in their teaching methods, making sure to vary the lesson structure each day and get the students up and out of their seats in order to keep them entertained. They worked hard at grading tests and getting them back quickly, as well as making sure we understood the the subject material. Unfortunately, this only applied to a small few of the teaching staff. Many of the teachers had given up from day one, and as the class sensed that, they began to act out.I have been in some classes where there is no lessson for days, or in one case, weeks. It really bothers me that the classes I am required to take are wasting my time because the teachers do not care enough to put in any effort. I have noticed that honors classes seem to have better teachers than the academic classes."
