"The school is a really good school. They begin making the students college ready starting from 6 grade. The teachers are always there if you need help academically or personally, and are really close to the students. A lot of the girls get kind of thrown off at the fact it is an all girl school and might be uncomfortable because there are no boys but, once you start getting used to it, you can actually see the school for what it actually it."

"As a young hispanic female, coming into an all girls school, I had these crazy bizarre thoughts that it would be weird and not beneficial because it just wasn't normal. However experiencing these last three years I've come to find and know myself. I'm this crazy new person that is awesome, because of joining the Environmental club and being able to join these challenging AP courses. I like coming into school feeling like I know everyone (even if I don't), no one was more or less, everyone is equal. And that's what this school is about, empowering women, because women are empowering, and because women deserve to be equal as men. Thankyou TYWLS of Brooklyn!"

"I really enjoyed my time at Tywls and I plan to make the rest of it great. They push you to work hard and do your best and motivate you to challenge yourself and go beyond your comfort zone. My sisters here at TYWLS they are very loving and supporting and want the best for you. The teachers do everything in they can to make sure the students have all the materials and ensure that needs are fulfilled."
