"All the teachers in C-A high school are always there to help all of us students. I have a great relationship with most of my teachers. If I ever need any help the teachers are always available to help me after school."

"It's a small school, so everyone knows each other. Which can be a good, or bad thing. There's a lot of drama but the administrators, for the most part, handle everything pretty well. There is one thing I strongly disagree about, but everything else is decent. They treat you like prisoners sometimes. The hall monitors always act like you're lying, and you can't go anywhere, even to the bathroom without being harassed. It's extremely unnecessary and quite obnoxious. It makes us feel like we're trapped. They expect us to leave home in a few months and make adult decisions, like where I am going to college, and living on my own, but they treat us like we're babies. It's almost like they still want us to walk in a single file line to each class. It makes it very difficult to enjoy the day when you can't even use the bathroom without being harassed about it. Other than that, things are okay. The food is terrible but that's to be expected I guess. Hopefully they'll lighten up about being in the halls soon, but it seems to just get worse each year. But most of the teachers are decent, a lot of them seem to care about our futures, especially our principal. He does a great job making sure we're on top of everything."

"I personally love everything about my school. All of my extra clubs are so friendly and gets everyone involved. We do movie nights and game nights for my library club which I love since I want to be an event planner - so clubs like library club, student council, and prom committee are very helpful. They have a wide variety of clubs for everyone. Everywhere from interact club, to library club, to newspapers, to foreign languages."

"School is all about what you make of it. While at Coxsackie-Athens, I was very involved in sports and clubs and I was never bored. The sense of community at the school is extremely unique and the team bond in sports was incredible. I would definitely attend this school all over again because it has helped shape me into a better person."
