"Overall, the vast majority of the teachers at SGHS were great. I never had an issue with any of my teachers. All were very approachable and kind to me. I felt comfortable going to them with any questions that I might have had in a class. I believe that that is part of the reason why I was so successful in my education while I attended high school. All of my teachers were very knowledgeable in their subjects and some would even try to help you in other subjects if needed as best they could. I know a few times in study hall, my math teacher would be trying to help me with my spanish. I wouldn't have wanted any other group of teachers helping me through this critical time in my life than the ones I had going to SGHS. The staff there is just fantastic and I don't think many would disagree with me."

"Our school is very small therefore everyone knows everyone. In some instances this can be a disadvantage, but going to SGHS, I feel as though this is an advantage. Everyone is so friendly and helps each other out. You don't have to be friends with everyone to know that when you go on stage, on the field, or even go to class, you'll see a familiar face supporting you in what you're doing. Because everyone is so close knit, the students are very successful in most of what they do. This is because they are getting support not only from family and close friends, but by the whole community. I wouldn't trade where I went to school and grew up for the world."

"The teachers at the school help you when you need it. They only give what you put in. So if you approach a teacher with a question, they will help you and make sure you understand the topic throughly."

"Some teachers are amazing and do their best for you, but some could care less, have no way to help you, and think it's your own problem."
