"My experience at this school was alright, sports aren't really big at the school except for football. Parents can be very rude to adminstration and attack them when their children aren't doing well whether or not the teacher has any control over that students success or if the child just isn't putting in effort. Being in such a small school, everyone knows everyone and their "story", rumors also spread like crazy which can be horrible. Not many people graduate from this school and end up doing something big, something that matters. The school doesn't offer many extra courses of any value, a student from such a small school just can't compete with a student from Albany Academy or other big schools with more opportunity. Because of this it's hard for a Canajoharie student to be excepted into an ivy league school over students who go to bigger schools with a better curiculum and more opportunities. If I had the choice I wouldn't go to this school mainly because I'm someone who wants to achieve big things and have the ability to explore any extra activities I can to put myself above other college applicants. Although, this school is great for someone who loves the small town atmosphere and plans to stay local."

"Really, it depends on what grade you're in and which teachers you get. Some teachers go above and beyond every single day for their students while other due the minumum requirement to allow their students to pass the regents. There's now a time for students at the end of the day to go see any teacher they need help from or owe work to so they can get help and caught up. Teachers also try to really involve themselves in activities with students and show interest in students lives. Teaching styles definitely vary throughout the school, some teachers love technology and try to utilize it as much as possible while others want to stick with their old ways of teaching. If a certain style of teaching isn't working for you, most teachers will go out of their way to help you find a way of learning that works best for you. The good part of going to a small school is you will know all the teachers you have personally and they will know you just as well, if not better."

"Depends on which teacher it is. Some have better teaching ways then others. All depends on how you like to learn."

"it wasn't the best school ever, it definitely wasn't the worst. It is not good is all. The students are very bad, the teachers aren't the best, the programs aren't the best, there's not much to do, most kids get into a lot of trouble. Great music department with pretty good directors and some good experiences available. Sports is big there. I, personally, just didn't care for the school or the area. If you weren't a favorite or into all the sports and programs, you weren't recognized for things you did. I graduated high school in three years rather than four due to most of this. The school and towns are also so small that everyone knows everyone and if you weren't born there or had moved there when you were young, you were an outsider, so going to school there for me was not easy."
