"It's a small town school and the teachers do a lot of things. We had some clubs and activities but there wasn't much other than sports. The teachers were helpful and everyone knew everyone else."

"This was a great school to attend. Everyone was very close and although there wasn't much to do, we were good at the things we had."

"The academics are average. Most students do as told, some choose not to. It's an average high school."

"Most teachers go above than what is required. There isn't a teacher that wouldn't help a student struggling. Although, some teachers have disciplinary trouble.. Regardless, the teachers are doing a well job at Marion."

"I've been going to Marion all my life. This being, I've seen it all in this small town. The teachers are probably the most involved and concerned with student education and involvement. Parents mostly care or are involved if their child is involved. Drama of the school can get intense quickly, but that goes without saying since it's a common occurrence in other facilities as well. One thing that I believe should be considered is more interest or commitment to the music portion of the school. Recently we have been given more options about classes and electives which I find appealing. All in all, Marion is doing a relatively well job, but could use some changes."
