"Mercy was a wonderful school where I formed amazing friendships and learned to think for myself. I was well prepared for college but the administration was awful. Firstly, while the education was certainly better than many public schools, the teachers and staff seemed to believe that the school was much more prestigious than it was. This carried over so that many of the facilities were outdated and the food is terrible. But the administration is completely oblivious. It was a great school, but some serious changes need to be made."

"What I really loved about Mercy High School was how well they get students ready for college. The student teacher relationships that are built make for great college recommendation letters."

"Great education and teachers who really care about their students. The STEM department is a little lacking but great academics nonetheless. The school is a place of respect and great life lessons and tradition. It forms amazing bonds and creates leaders"

"Met some great people here who will be friends for life. We've bonded over how weird the school is, especially the teachers. There are some interesting characters here. There are a couple great teachers, especially in the high school but lower grades typically have worse teachers. The all-girl environment helped to boost my confidence and definitely provided me with the right tools to thrive in college. If you are interested in STEM, the opportunities here for engineering related classes and computer classes are low but the counseling dept. does a great job with sending out info for out of school events related to science and other opportunities. If you don't like quirky-ness and can't handle stress well, this might not be the school for you. The workload is pretty high but after a while you learn to time manage very well. My biggest complaint is lack of organization especially for clubs and sports."

"This school provides an all girls catholic education. While the all-girls environment inspires confidence and a certain fearlessness when it come to taking charge, it also fosters an extremely competitive atmosphere. It's a cut throat kind of education, in the fact that if you're not at the very top you're nothing. Like many institutions, the school is also very corrupt and treats students who donate money to the school very differently than the students who come from lower income families. Although, there are about three quite amazing teachers at the school. Furthermore, the intense curriculum (~9-12 hrs of hw/night) prepares the students for the rigorous college experience. If you want your daughter to loathe learning and education but get into a top college than send her here."
