"At Odyssey Academy students find balance. Balance between academics, extracurricular activities and Odyssey culture. Academics are rigorous as the school offers both AP/IB courses. Odyssey Academy is successfully starting to address those students in need of extra assistance with the implementation of the AVID program which provides students with the necessary skills to succeed in high school (such as organization). All of this, in corroboration with over 35 clubs, sports, and organizations creates a community that is effective in creating change. The Odyssey community brings about change with the goal of teaching its students how to positively impact society. Teacher-student interaction creates an atmosphere of collaboration allows students to understand the information better and in an unique way."

"Odyssey really makes a great effort to prepare their students for life after high school-whether its college or the career field. Odyssey holds their students to a high academic expectation, and they offer a variety of challenging courses, including AP, IB, and MCC dual credit courses. they also have the seniors perform and Exhibition of Self Knowledge as a graduation requirement as a way of preparing students for future interviews. they also have juniors and sophmores do an interview with a college, and shadow a career of their interest."

"I came to Odyssey Academy, a suburban public school, from a school in the city where I had grown up in. At first, I was very shocked, culturally. It was very different than my previous school, and the learning expectations were times 10. The staff, teachers, and students at Odyssey Academy helped ease me into the academic norms. Once adjusted, I had a clear vision of what I needed to do to succeed. And surely, my parents, my teachers, and the staff at school were there to make it as smooth, yet effective, as possible. The students at Odyssey, as well as myself, have countless opportunities. I wish I had been at Odyssey from the beginning."

"The teachers at Odyssey Academy are tremendously dedicated. They work tirelessly to ensure our academic success, and encourage us to step beyond what we think we're capable of. They teach us in a way which applies to our learning styles, and use techniques where we learn - and not just remember. I can say confidently the education I am receiving at Odyssey Academy is not only Grade-A, but realistic and easily applicable to real life circumstances."
