"I would definitely choose this school again. We live in the city of Rochester, and all of the schools here (with a few luke-warm exceptions) are failing miserably. My son has developed friendships from all over the city and surrounding towns. This school isn't "sheltered" like some people would have you believe. It's very dynamic and diverse."

"The teachers here seem to have chosen teaching as a vocation, rather than just a job. They're all incredibly dedicated to their students, and really seem to love what they do. I wish the teachers I had growing up had this same level of dedication to their kids; these teachers make me want to go back to high school so I could learn from them!"

"All teachers have their different ways of teaching, they are very engaging and fun. They all have great knowledge on the topics they teach and they are always open to questions and concerns for the students."

"It's a lot of fun. Have made great friends. Going to sporting events is the most fun part of my McQuaid experience. Just wish that we could have dances back. It feels as if administration is against the students. They are constantly shutting down and restricting the students and our ideas. More scared about being politically correct and ensuring no liability than about the students having a good experience. Senior pranks are met with the threat of not walking the stage at Eastman. Senior sleepover has been taken away. Dances have been taken away. Sausage fest is gone."
