    "I wish I could say all the teachers at this school were great, but I cannot. Unfortunately, we had the misfortune to deal with a couple of uncaring apples this past year. Half of the principal staff diligently works to further communication amongst the students, parents and teachers. This school has a great support team, but suffers in it's higher leadership. I am not pleased as to how the children are challenged. This is a small district that has grown faster than it's finances. This district is suffering academically and the majority of the teachers appear to reach to the PSSA tests. Very Sad! I hope someone that can make a difference notices, because this elementary school could be one of Pittsburgh's best kept secrets."

    "I suppose the parents that gave this school a 5 out of 5 rating have never had children in any other public school. I have been so disappointed in this school. The schools my children have attended stressed the importance of early learning, diversity, respect for the individual, and the environment(1 news letter per week) easy internet accsess and guess what we had lower taxes it can be done."

    "This is an awesome school district! The teachers have been very attentive to both of my children as well as to their differing learning styles. As for communication, no one is perfect; however, they are as close as they can get. We get a ton of communication relative to most activities that occur at the school. It's been my experience that many parents don't take the time to open the child's 'take home folder' from school. That's where I find most of the communications from the school .. and believe me, some days I wish it was empty!"
