"We bought our house because of McKnight. This is an excellent school. Its large but grades are in separate areas. School is nicely organized and safe. Outstanding bullies prevention program. A lot of attention to new students. Friendship groups with Mrs.Biro helped us a lot. In 3rd grade kids raised Monarch butterflies and tagged them for Kansas University migration study. And some of their butterflies reached Mexico! In 4th grade they learned how to do science projects. We were very happy with classrom teachers Mrs.Ferguson (3rd grade) and Mr.Frank (4th grade). Music teachers are very professional. Yearly art shows are amaizing. Phisical education is focused on healthy lifestyle and introduce students to various sports including biking. Mr.Parks is a true leader. It seems that he knows every student by name. He coaches afterschool basketball along with other teachers. For my son he is a superhero. McKight is a perfect choice for parents who want their children to thrive not only academically but also socially."

"We moved to the NA district when our kids were babies, specifically because of the school system. McKnight is a quality school. Not all elemtary schools are equal, even within the same district, and I think McKnight is tops. Mr. Parks cares about the kids more than you can imagine. One of my children has special needs and is receiving an education far superior to anything I could have imagined when we first moved here."

"I am blown away by the teachers at this school. They expect the most from the kids but also let them be kids. The things they are learning are above grade level in my opinion. Principal is also top knotch."

"Two of my nephews attend McKnight; one in kindergarten and one who is now in 4th grade. They love the personal attention their teachers take time to give and all the extracurricular activities too. The staff is very good about including and engaging the community and in having the older children help the younger."

"As a parent who has had children in public as well as private schools I have to say despite its size McKnight Elm school and NA in general are far exceeding my expectations. The individual attention received as well as extra curricular activities offered in everything from intermurals, after school extras and advanced learning. The teachers seem to really love teaching here and the principal is very well respected for his job and his knowledge of each child! It's an amazing school!"
