"what makes Tussey Mountain High unique is they have a strong structural foundation with teaching. The teachers are nice and caring and want you to push forward and through obstacles to reach your career. The principles and guidance counselors are helpful to come to talk to if you ever have a situation you feel you can't handle alone. Tussey Mountain gives you freedoms of expressing yourself in a positive way. Also, they let you learn and express your capabilities and strengthens your weaknesses on the things you'll need once you are on your own. My favorite experiences always being at Tussey Mountain was the easy going people you can meet and become friends with of all grade levels. If I could repeat all of my years of high school, I would return to Tussey Mountain"

"The school policies seemed to care more about the students passing standardized tests and making the school look good. The teachers, on the other hand, were helpful in preparing the students for college. Because of the advice from my teachers, I felt ready to go to college. Their words of wisdom gave me confidence when I left for college, and because of this, my transition to college student was easy."
