"Scahs provides so many different courses for almost every possible job interest. The athletics are top notch, and there are tons of clubs and intermieral activities for students to participate in. I personally love how big of a school it is; each grade has 600+ students. The advantage here for me was the ability to have a diverse group of friends. I loved high school, and I owe it to State High."

"State High has really great academics--I felt completely prepared for college. I think the school really reflects the fact that it is based in a college town; the teachers and students are all very well educated. The physical buildings had some issues because of the age of the school, but they are currently under construction and should be much better in a few years."

"The options for non- core classes is similar to a small college, better than most private schools. Additionally, this school offers just about any sport or club you could imagine. We've found a mix of great teachers and just acceptable which greatly influences the class experience. I would like to see more help in the college decision process and SAT prep - you are pretty much on your own."

"I really liked State High because of the many elective options and all the teachers were very nice. At the beginning of my junior year my school switched to block scheduling which everyone really likes. I would change the construction going on around the school because it gets very loud sometimes and can be distracting."

"I think it's very decent, however some teachers can feel like they are forcing their own believes on the students with little room for interpretation."
