"I was involved in a select choir called the West Side Singers and I always felt supported. Our theater program also was a positive experience because there was competition and fun at the same time."

"There were many teachers that gave time outside of class and cared about student questions."

"Most teachers here really do care about the students and stay after many hours to write curriculum and activities to help the students fully understand. The main problem with the school is student apathy. Many students don't care to learn, and have no passion for understanding, but just passing the class. Even though it has a small population, Susquenita offers many AP college credit courses that can't be found in surrounding schools. Other than that, it's a nice, small, public school that will give you a good education (if you'll work for it) and will give you some awesome relationships with people who care about your future and are helping you get there."

"For the most part all of the teachers at Susquenita High School want the best for all of their students. All of them that I've had are very approachable about anything involving school. If you're out of school for a sufficient amount of time and you want to quick send your teacher an email about missing schoolwork; they are usually pretty quick to respond. Same goes with grading, they're pretty quick with placing your grade in the grade book."

"So far, it's been a really nice close-knit community experience. A lot of the student body activities like our annual Mini-Thon and Floor Hockey Marathon raise money for cancers and leukemia are a blast and well worth it for a good cause. We were specifically recognized this year as an Apple School because of our iPad initiative. When the iPads are used for school work, they're a great tool, but there are minimal restrictions and most students end up using it as a gaming device. But in the larger picture, it's well worth it to feel like your part of a community, support your peers and join together for causes."
