"Danville Area High School was where I grew to be who I am now through both academics and sports. Danville is a very sports oriented community and as such the sports scene thrived. There were varied types of teachers but most knew how to present information in a proper way and facilitated learning."

"Danville is a close niche town and so is the school. Even if somebody doesn't know your name, they recognize your face. There are a ton of great teachers who are willing to help you in and out of school. Many teachers are also very involved in the school sports. The entire town is a football town and promenade is an event where the town comes out to see all the dressed up high schoolers of the town."

"Even though Danville Area Senior High School seems to me to have one of the least diverse student bodies, the academics offered at the school are great: numerous AP and honor courses guided by some teachers who truly care about your personal progress in their classes; the same idea applies to the clubs and activities at Danville Area Senior High School as well although it would great if some students did not hold multiple offices across different clubs to give other students a chance to participate in a leadership role. Another big complaint about Danville Area Senior High School is its quality of food; even though I have never bought lunch there, from what I have observed, the food isn't all that great."

"Danville area high school has a lot of great faculty members and a variety of different courses you can take like for example financial classes. The only thing i didn't like about my high school is that it didn't prepare me well for college. I quickly adjusted but going into my freshman year of college was nerve racking. I didn't know how the math courses worked when i was there. I never was told or guided to take a pre calculus class so i never took one because i didn't know. I got to college and realized i needed pre calculus to be placed in math so i can be on the same track as my fellow classmates. Since i was never taught pre calc i am now behind and have to take a summer course."

"I liked the teachers and the classes offered. Most of the teachers were always willing to help and go above and beyond to help the students. If I would change something it would be the long days, as this school had the longest school day of the district. I would cut out the period at the end of the day called resource and make electives such as chorus and band real classes."
