"I also agree with the review of 6/1/09. I'm amazed at what is tolerated by the administration. Children who have no respect for anyone are allowed to overshadow the cooperative, basically good kids."

"I thoroughly concur with the review of 6/1/09. While there are a number of dedicated and talented teachers, the administration of the school is composed of a group of smug, self-righteous hypocrites interested in perpetuating their existence. Further, it is difficult to attend any parent-school function without the subject of financial shortfall being raised. That being the case, a bit of value-added self review may be in order - does a student population of 1200 really justify 5 vice-principals, a principal and a president? The money spent on these superfluous positions could be better spent on updating the curriculum and afterschool activities and become competitive with public school districts like Council Rock and Central Bucks."

"I have had two children attend this school. I was extremely displeased with the character of the individuals that comprise the administration of this school. However, some of the teachers that have been at the school for a long time are great. There was an unfair and surprising academic outcome in my daughter's senior year. Basically, she was at the top of the class, became ill and received very little support from the administration. It was very disappointing and ironic certain individuals did not practice the Catholic values that they preached. Our family is deeply saddened by these events and will not forget this behavior. The biggest lession I learned from this is - Don't expect this school's environment to be any different from any other school - it is the character of the people that make the school not the religious beliefs and teachings of the school."

"Left me entirely unprepared to become a music major in college. The arts are extremely lacking, as there are no music classes. The art program is still there, though I wonder for how much longer. However, the number of AP courses available will allow me to graduate early. Discipline is nearly nonexistent; it seems more important to the administration to deal with uniform infractions than threats against students. The experience there is not one I care to repeat."

"My children have attended Wood for the past four years, and I have been very impressed with the quality of education and the impressive array of classes, sports, and extracurricular activities available for students. The classes are academically challenging, with a large selection of outstanding AP courses ...I have never seen faculty more dedicated and caring...of course, as in all schools, there are some exceptions to this high praise, but those teachers are in the minority. Overall, I am highly pleased with my children's education, and cannot believe that our tuition is so low (friends in CT pay three times what we pay for tuition). My kids have made friends with some amazing kids...And, the most important part, my children are really learning the truth about our Catholic faith...not some watered-down version of it. The class of 2004 was offered over $10 million in scholarships for college. That says it all!"
