"As a senior at Samuel s. Fels highschool, graduating June 2017. Honestly fels isn't a bad place. I made great friends and the kids are super friendly. Yes, there are fights and disagreements but it's kindve rare that happens. Fels has great arts program as well as a media arts program. Most teachers are here to teach although you will have some you don't care and is just there for the job. Overall it's a great school to me."

"First, this school highly unsafe because in my freshman year there were two lockdown, since someone brought a gun to school even though we have scanners and metal detectors. Other students are drug dealers and get involved in violence. Teachers are some staff members do not seem to care for the students, teachers just give out worksheets and make us watch YouTube videos that are school inappropriate. However, there are teacher who do teacher but not many. There aren't a lot of challenging work for the students, and even if you have honor classes there are some students who shouldn't be there. Also, they fire good, young teacher, and keep the old ones who just want there retirement fund. There isn't much to like about this school expect the actually good teachers who challenge you and teach you about the world. I would like this school to change completely; we need to replace the old teachers with younger ones."

"My freshman year the school was great. There we so many activities and great teachers and the behavior was well under control. But toward my senior year I started seeing less and less of the activities and amazing caring teachers. It just keeps going downhill. I'd like to see a more strict administration and teachers who actually care about the students and can get them to act right."

"I decided to go to Samuel Fels because they had a arts program which included choir, band, visual art after one year they shut it down main streamed all of the art kids and placed them with the rest of the other kids, since I've been going here I haven't felt challenged about anything. My first 3 years I got accepted into the Temple University Music Scholarship program and every Saturday I would practice there sadly this year I didn't get in but, now I play at Penn State Abington with their jazz band."

"My time at Fels were the greatest 4 years of my life. I've learned so much from so many wonderful people. I got to meet great friends of mine and learned a lot about myself along the way. I pushed myself and got an awesome education."
