"I have had a very mixed experience with the teachers at Mount Pleasant High School! My favorites this past year were so engaged in what they were teaching and were clearly passionate about their jobs. They wanted to help students grow and thrive and provided an appropriate environment for that. But I also experienced a teacher who was almost the exact opposite and had a negative attitude, absurd grading practices and she lacked in knowledge of the subject she taught!"

"The teachers at my school are dedicated to making students learn about essential skills in life. They have some interest in students. They grade on a consistent rate. They communicate not too often and they should contact parents on how students are doing and what they can improve on."

"I was definitely very stressed during Junior year because we had so many projects and internal assessments that counted for a large portion of our grade all assigned to us at the same time and I was also involved in Show Choir, Cross Country, Soccer, Choir and the Drama Department. Overall, I loved the classroom community because in the IB Program, there were close knit groups of friends that formed from having classes together and even though I was spreading myself too thin with all of my extracurricular activities on top of the homework load, I would have done it exactly the same if I were to do it over again. I became a more well rounded student because of the IB Program and the multitude of groups and organizations that were available for me to take part in and I think the experience has prepared me well for college."

"My overall experince has been a rough ride for me because of certain teachers in my school. They expect too much from you and they can get angered easily and it makes it seem that it's your fault. In reality, it's their fault. They shouldn't blame everything on you. The school environment has made me seem uncertain about myself. Bullying can still happen at my school. Bullying needs to end. Students can interact with their peers in a negative way."
