"Early College High School at Delaware State University is a good school with great opportunities, but I think they just need to plan better. You are given the opportunity to take college classes starting the second semester of your 9th grade year, which can put you ahead. They even allow you to take classes based on your major. All these things are good opportunities, but the planning around them is not good. For my first college class, there was an issue with high school students not being fully enrolled in classes, which caused confusion and trouble. All in all, ECHS is a nice school, but be prepared for much disorganization."

"I liked how well the teachers prepped you for college classes during 9th grade before actually giving you college classes in 10th grade. The staff and students are exceptionally nice and you get a really great education here. The only thing I would change is the fact that we don't have lockers."

"Good: College classes are honestly so cool to be in. Unlike normal high schools, you aren't being watched like a hawk or treated like a child. There are certain teachers that honestly do care about you because it's a small school so they can take the time to work with you. Great way to make connections in your field/begin networking to build a name for yourself. Bad: The food is the worst...honestly horrible. The only club supported by the school is BPA and for the rest of us, that pretty annoying. The sports team are a joke. The classrooms/bathrooms can go weeks without being cleaned. Communication between staff and students sucks."

"I would suggest this school to any and all college bound high school students in Delaware. This school offers students the opportunity to acquire college credits at the only HBCU in Delaware, the honorable Delaware State University, while also getting a higher level, quality high school education. You can attain two years worth of FREE college college credits and they also offer personal finance courses and classes that help students apply for scholarships. Not to mention the teachers and administration truly care about the quality of students they produce!! One of the BEST HIGH SCHOOLS IN DELAWARE HAND DOWN!!!?"

"I loved my experience so far because it has allowed me to take college classes in high school. I'm earning college credits and saving money in the future all while being able to challenge myself with harder classes."
