"When I attended Chipman, I found it to be a great school! This school was very diverse and there was a group for everyone! The academics were a little bit above average. The saying goes for everything, "Life is what you make it!""

"My three-year experience at W.T. Chipman Middle School was overall, a great adventure. I had the chance to meet some distinguished teachers along with inexperienced ones as well. I believe that this mixed environment allowed me to shift and become more resilient when transitioning to high school. My fondest memories of this school included taking part of their community service events: tutoring at a nearby elementary school, holding food drives, raising money for cancer, etc. This input to the community provided a "giving" atmosphere. My worst memories had to do with the incompetence of individual teachers to thoroughly explain subjects their students did not understand. Although not all teachers fit into this criteria, the one or two that did provided a negative experience for me as a student."

"I would get bullied a lot in the school. When my mom would request a parent conference many parents were very rude. From what I observed there was not many people there for their children. In my eighth grade year I had two friends pass away and it was tragic. I was hurt by the school doing much more for the one than the other. They were equal people in that school so should've had equal support."

"I must say there are a few teachers that are very caring and intelligent. Many teachers there handed us a book and told us to read it to learn. There was many issues with teachers in the school and do not regret my decision going to Polytech."
