"The academics offered at Smyrna High are diverse in their own ways via the teachers and their teaching styles, the different career paths offered, and the different level of classes available (i.e. CP, Honors, and AP classes in all core classes and languages). The work load matches the difficulty of the classes a student is taking and is always do-able if done so in a timely manner."

"I believe the top students in each grade at Smyrna High tend to be really involved in student based committees, etc. I also feel like there is a lot of peer pressure to always "look your best" and to try and impress others like there would be at any other school at this level, but there isn't so much peer pressure that it affects everyone. For the most part, we dress however we want(following the District's dress code of course). Also, everyone I know is pretty accepting as far as I know."

"My overall experience at this school is wonderful. The people I've met are great people and the teachers are working hard towards preparing their students for the next level and beyond. Some of my favorite experiences are with the music department at the school. This includes the concerts for the band/chorus themselves and the annual band/chorus trip where we get to travel to some place new and compete against other schools and their preforming groups. Last year, the trip was to Orlando, Florida to compete in Disney's Festival Disney event. The choir, jazz band, and symphonic band received excellent ratings, and the marching band received a superior rating. Aside from that, I would definitely choose this school if I could go to high school all over again (and I haven't even finished high school yet). This school has a special place in my heart and it always will."

"My personal experiences here were very good. My favorite activities would be the pep rallies and battle of the classes. When your there its everyone in the school coming together to support each other. You can feel the energy everyone brings to support the teams and the school as a whole. I believe the school is unique because of the teachers. I have been to many different schools and the teachers here and the quality of education I was receiving I hadn't experienced before. If I had to choose all over again I would definitely pick this school again. I've learned so many life lessons and made lifelong friends I can't imagine not going to Smyrna High."
