"Currently I am experiencing my first year at Dunbar and I absolutely enjoy it. I had transferred from a different highschool and honestly I feel like I have learned so much more at Dunbar than my past school. The teachers at Dunbar are more caring than any other school I've attended. I feel as if they really want us to succeed in life and it is their number one goal. I will continue my highschool career at Dunbar and proudly graduate next year."

"Dunbar is a very family oriented school. We all are one huge family. The teachers and counselors trully wants us to go far. My experience has given me plenty opportunities and because of Dunbar I can go to college with my experiences of studying abroad and taking college courses. I would like to change the laziness of the teachers over the past years they've taken their time on assignments just to get less than two students to understand which holds up the learning process. On the other hand Dunbar is highly favored and committed to helping their students for high school and after."

"Paul Laurence Dunbar is very unique school to me because the staffs acts like your parents and the Charles Drew STEM Academy helps very much for my future. I would choose this school again because the members of this school are very eager for you to do your best in here plus in life period. When it comes down to applying for college ,doing resumes ,and applying for internships the school already have everything set up for you to prepare for college and your future it will just be up to you to play your part. Dunbar would be my number one choice of schools to go to in DC."
