"Overall Manassas Park High School is a good school. I've made a lot of friends throughout my years here. Also, our school is very diverse. The only setback of this school is that it's small. It was built for a small community and a small group of students. Each year, we have a bigger group of students which means it's starting to get crowded and also there's a ton of issues with graduation. Our school insists on holding graduation in our gym every year but because it's a small gym, graduates are limited on who to bring for graduation. It angers a lot of students because we're basically being told to choose between our family members even though we want all of them to watch us graduate."

"Manassas Park School District brushes a lot of matters under the rug that would elsewhere be grounds for dismissal. Eyes are wide open but the administration looks the other way when it comes to disciplining immorality. Also, some administrators are allowed to use their position to control matters beyond the scope of their employment duties. "Yes men" are rewarded. Those with an individual opinion would not be as welcome."

"It's definitely got the small school feeling, which I thought I'd like, but everyone knows too much. Teachers are hit or miss, and programs (calendar, intersession, etc.) kind of suck. Honestly, there's just a big lack of caring."

"I like that it's a small school in a small city so we pretty much know everybody and we're all friends. Everyone is friendly, including the staff and teachers of the school. I've enjoyed my high school experience."

"Manassas Park High School is a multicultural school rich with diversity yet closeness. It is not a large school, so people constantly feel a sense of family and unity. That was put into test recently as much of the school came together in response of the passing of two beloved teachers over the past few years. The teachers generally care about the success of their students. Some of them offer studying after school, and you can email them if you have troubles. Some students even turn to their teachers as mentors, which demonstrates the kindness of their hearts. There is no excuse to be bored in the school since there are a range of extracurricular activities along with occasional special events. The only downside is that even though the school is small, it had a huge population increase in the last few years, and the hallways and classes are becoming increasingly cluttered. Overall, Manassas Park High School is an incredible school that has had a huge positive impact on my life."
