"The teachers are great. I only had a couple of less than great moments with teachers, which compared to other schools is a big differences. I've heard many stories of people absolutely hating their school's whole teaching staff. Fortunately, those type of stories don't apply to the BMS teaching staff"

"I love BMS. I wouldn't change much, but there definitely needs to be a better incorporation of minority groups. There's so many types of people at this school, but due to parents wanting to keep their children ignorant to the world, the school doesn't necessarily want to go as in too depth with their teachings of different backgrounds. There are diversity days which are great, but socially there are separations. Besides the social divisions and sometimes ignorances, Bryn Mawr was great and had a nice atmosphere. I would definitely choose BMS if I had to do it all over again."

"I loved my time at Bryn Mawr; I met some of the greatest friends that I will ever meet and I still keep in touch with a good amount of my friends from Bryn Mawr. Academically, the school definitely prepared me for college well. What I mean by this is that I was able to develop good study habits, stress tolerance, time management, and I also learned how to develop my own voice and self-awareness. Bryn Mawr is unique in that it is a very liberal, accepting environment that teaches students to be politically correct, sensitive, and to welcome all different kinds of people. One downside of the overall environment of Bryn Mawr, however, would probably be the competitive atmosphere. It can be a very stressful environment at times where girls are constantly comparing themselves to each other."

"Because classes are so small, teachers are really able to give one on one attention to students. They have the opportunity to get to know most of their students on a personal level and this is something that is so unique to Bryn Mawr and other private schools in the area. The curriculum is pretty challenging and, therefore, teachers have high expectations for their students. That being said, some teachers are definitely better suited from some learning styles than others are."

"I've had some really awesome teachers here. Although some people at Bryn Mawr have had some majors complaints for their teachers, I've only had good teachers. I had one teacher who is a nut for a couple weeks, but every school has a teacher like that. The science department is kind of lacking but thats ok."
