"My high school experience at Cambridge South Dorchester were very remarkable. The school allowed me to build connections, enhance my education, earn college credits, and gave me multiple opportunities to better myself. I enjoyed the many activities the school has provided since I have attended the school. If I had the chance to change anything while I was at Cambridge South Dorchester is the discipline and the education methods. But with that being said the overall experience was outstanding."

"Overall the teachers and administration were great! A lot of them really care about the well-being and education of the students who attend. As a graduate of CSDHS I can honestly say that I was able to build good relationships with the teachers I came in contact with."

"This school is ridiculous. The only goal for the administration and teachers is to get everyone to graduate, which means sliding students through crap programs meant to "catch them up" to where they should be if they hadn't essentially failed the ninth grade. For me, someone who wanted to be challenged and go to an ivy league school, was convinced early on that not trying was a good thing and sports were more important than learning, until this year when I have had to learn how to study and understand that meeting the bare minimum in class is pathetic. It's a bad environment overall."

"I like fact that it is a small community. Making connections is simple due to the fact that everybody knows one another. That being said, due to the small population, fitting in seems a lot more complicated. Opportunities are scarce at this school and there is an overall lack of school spirit. Organization is lacking in many clubs and organizations. The AP classes are unsuccessful in preparing for the exam and there is a lack of SAT prep. By far the biggest problem about this school is it's hygiene. The school seems to be dirty most of the time, the fact that the building hasn't been properly renovated in over sixty years contributes to that. I would recommend looking for a different school district."
