"It's a very welcoming environment as seen by how the students and even faculty act with each other. Many of the students here make sure no one is felt left out; the students make the Options students (those with learning disabilities) feel loved and cherished. The faculty and teachers truly care about each and every student. The academics are very demanding and prepare you for college no matter what academic level you're at (i.e. advanced and honors). Nevertheless, the science department isn't the best, although there is one teacher of the science department that teaches proficiently and definitely prepares you for the fast paced demands of college. The only downside of Saint John Paul the Great is the diversity. Although it isn't an all-white school, there isn't much diversity to be seen. It seems as if most of the student population are white conservative Catholics."

"Great School if your child doesn't like or isn't planning to enter a science field, as the teachers are discouraging and routinely humiliate the students, stating how stupid they are. My child is now a Junior, and after two years of so called 'honors' classes, I am shocked at how teachers are allowed to treat students so poorly, never give tests back so I can check them (I have a science background), and are poor, poor teachers. My child came home today stating that they were going to kill themself because of the chemistry teacher. What's going on here? No one listens."

"I loved SJPG because of how college ready this private schools prepares its students. With its strict curriculum, it forced students to accept the challenge of hard work, discipline, and responsibility. With a strenuous work load, this schools does nothing but prepare you for the college work load."

"I had a great high school experience at Saint John Paul the Great. The community is strong among the classes, the teachers really care about each student, and I found that I was very ready for college after graduation."
