"North stafford taught me what I need to know about college and the future. Nothing really needs to change it was a great 4 years I had at that school."

"North Stafford is not as crowded as other schools. Overall, more students seem to focus on sports rather than academics. However, the ones that do care about academics aren't acknowledged enough. Programs such as the governor's school and the STEM dictate to you what classes you will take. People in these programs are usually the ones who get praised, but ones who have better GPA and take more rigorous classes are overlooked. Some teachers that are good, but they usually leave because teachers in Stafford don't get paid as nearly as much as they deserve. For example, the AP Psych teacher, who prepared her students so well that many got a five on the AP exam, left to go to a middle school because she got better pay. This is a real issue that needs to be addressed. In other classes, such as AP Computer Science, there isn't even a teacher that knows a thing about computer science! There has only been one student that has actually passed the AP exam at this school."

"Overall, most of the teachers were pretty nice and you could tell they actually wanted to teach. Others, however, made it obvious that they hated their job and sometimes even the students they taught. There is not enough money to hire teachers, which we desperately need, but there is enough to renovate a perfectly-fine library; so we are stuck with colored water and a leaking roof, but hey, we have a brand new library. When they recently redistricted, many were complaining about coming to this school. What we lack in finances, though, the teachers make up for in effort. The teachers who want to be here go the extra mile in making sure that we are prepared for whatever it is that we are going after, whether it be college, exams, etc. Despite its many, many flaws, almost everyone here is proud to be a Wolverine, myself included."

"Very cliquish, teachers seemed overworked and underpaid. Lots of unresolved issues between the school board and the teachers. Parents were more concerned with vacation days than actually getting quality teachers in the classroom."

"The school is overall pretty great. A lot of the teachers are incredibly caring and understanding. Currently, the cell phone policy and dress coding is a little extreme, but not incredibly terrible."
