"The school does a lot to get students involved, but like me and other students we don't go to many events. I would go to this school again mainly for the art program"

"Most academic offered at this school are all based on your g.p.a. From experience I'm stuck in an honors class and cannot get switched out because my grade is to high."

"Most teachers care about their students and what they teach but some just do it for money and have to be yelled at to teach and put grades in."

"Teachers are phenomenal at Riverside High School! Many of them are fairly young in which they are super easy to connect with and relate to especially when it comes to high school student issues (to an extend) but as some would categorize the shier community of a high school, the "outcast" feel a little differently. As a student that was very close and highly favorable of my high school teachers, I recall myself getting "fired up" if any students would ever talk down on them such as calling them a "joke". Looking back now, I could somewhat understand where these harmful feelings were coming from... all teachers have this guard up to where they can't just invade in a student's personal life at their own leisure but students are always welcome to open up to their teachers. After seeing these outcast students speak on the Riverside teachers and staff, I concluded that it may not be hate but jealousy of not making connections with these teachers as other students, like myself, was so open to doing and succeeding throughout my 4 years. I guarantee if every student that attended Riverside High School reached out to their teachers like I did they would have amazing relationships that I still cherish today. These teachers would never turn their heads from anyone."
