"Overall I think Parkersburg South is a great school. There are many clubs, groups, sports, etc for everyone to be a part of. Most teachers at the school do a great job, and many do more than is asked of them. Unlike many other schools its size, Parkersburg South has a great sense of family."

"Through attending this school, I have met some of my best friends. I have also had the amazing opportunity to attend the Caperton Center for Applied Technology. It is a school focused on career and technical education. I was enrolled in the Drafting Program for two years and will receive 12 credit hours for drafting and 3 credit hours for english. It has put me one step ahead of everyone else that will be beginning college in the fall."

"I would not rate the teachers any higher nor lower for one reason. We either have teachers that genuinely care about the students and what they are teaching or teachers that are only teaching for a paycheck. Some teachers try to help struggling students, while others are perfectly content with failing a student that doesn't understand because the teacher does not teach well."
