"High school was a hard time but with the teachers and faculty it made it easier. They helped me through the hardest part of my life and helped me pass my classes with A's."

"Frankfort Highschool has been a very enjoyable school to attend. The teachers here are well educated and always prepared. Most students in Frankfort are ready and willing to cheer on our football team. Being in West Virginia would cause most people to assume that we are all country folk but that is not quite true. While most kids would be considered in that category and almost everyone has the country accent you would find many different cultures within our school. Our funding is not perfect. We use old textbooks that only get replaced around every four or more years if you're lucky, but the teachers make the best of it and truly teach you what you need to learn. One thing I enjoy about Frankfort is all of the activities and clubs that are offered to students. Now there could be more that might appeal to more students but all of the major groups are there for you to join. I hope one day that Frankfort s budget gets increased to allow for better equipment and food."

"Frankfort High School is a wonderful school in Mineral County, West Virginia. It's a school of about 500-600 students a year, and has many great faculty and staff members. There are two great principals that are to the point and very helpful with their students, and the school also has a guidance counseling system that is amazing as well. The school had a concert, marching, and jazz band, and also has many sports, which includes football, baseball, boys and girls basketball, volleyball, softball, girls tennis, golf, and bowling, and more. Frankfort has been recognized for a very high graduation rate, and around half of its students are on the honor roll! The school is all around wonderful, and a friendly environment. Anyone looking for a school that will bend over backwards for their success, Frankfort High is the one."

"Very clean and the academics are great, but the grading scale is outrageous. They definitely use their money well and don't completely focus on athletics (which is a good thing). A bad thing about this school is how much the teachers tease the students. There isn't much bullying at this school at all but the majority actually comes from the staff themselves. The grading scale causes more stress for the students and makes them feel like the letter is all that matters. Some students don't care about anything other then getting that 93% to get an A, even if it means that they just have to memorize which usually isn't even learning."

"This school offers a great learning environment with a staff that truly cares! The community is also very involved and tight-knit. The band has participated in two inaugural parades in a row. Athletics are great as well."
