"Early College of Forsyth is a wonderful program. The students earn an Associates Degree while also taking high school classes. There does need to be more communication between the college liaison and the students/parents."

"I really love attending the Early College of Forsyth. I think it's a great way to push high school students than they normally would, and I am so grateful that I was given the chance to earn an Associate's Degree. Because the school is not very large, it allows the teachers to develop relationships with the students and this overall adds to the learning experience. I think the only thing that should be changed is there should be more awareness of the school. Most of the people that I talk to have never heard of it, and I think that if it were more available, then more and more students would choose this type of high school."

"Everyone is like at family at the Early College and everyone are treated as equals. The instructors try to get to know the student on a person level and connect to them, which is always a good thing. One thing that could be worked on is the communication at the school."

"It's unique because of it's small size and so it's like a second family. A family that while it fights sometimes will always pull through together in the end."

"Since ECF is such a small school students have an easier time connecting with our teachers and getting help on whatever we need. The conversations that teachers have with us don't just include aspects of what happened during class but they take the time to ask us about our day, our family, or our future careers. In our school we only have nine teachers that teach all the high school courses so we don't just have a teacher one semester and that's it. We might have them for sophomore year in the fall and then see them again for senior year in the spring. I saw the difference n teaching style when this occurred. In sophomore year it was clear that while it wasn't easy they still took the time and answered questions in a straightforward manner. While as seniors teachers didn't spoon feed us anymore on what to do and I remember a research paper I had to do was just given to me with nothing except pick a topic pertaining this and it has to be thirteen pages, go. While I absolutely hated going through that it really gave me just a taste of what college might be that I thank my teachers for preparing us."
