"I enjoyed a lot of things about Grimsley. It is very strenuous, and it has hard courses, but it prepares you for college. Going to a competitive school like Grimsley helps you get into good schools, and it toughens you up. However, it is also very fun, and you can have a blast in school. However, I would like to see the quality of the lower level courses increase, as kids aren't getting a great education in lower level classes."

"I graduated from Grimsley in 2008. I can say that as a soon to be biotechnology graduate, Grimsley prepared me for the rigor of the sciences for sure!"

"I liked the feel that the high school was more of a college campus. I thought it was extremely huge my freshman year and a little overwhelming. Once the initial shock of the layout, after a few weeks it was easy to find my way around."

"Grimsley is a very academically challenging school, offering courses up to the IB level. Students at GHS are looking for opportunities to do something for someone else and look for clubs to join. Brooks Buddies, one of the school clubs, tutors students at a nearby elementary school. My freshman year I started the Grimsley Food Pantry, a way to help students who are food insecure. Another student formed a club that conducts food drives to help sustain the food pantry, as well as advertise to the students that the pantry is there to help if they need it. Many students are a part of the club and help by sort incoming donations in the pantry, and conducting food drives out of school that will go to the pantry. Overall, Grimsley is a more than wonderful high school. Striving to be a well-rounded student shows how Grimsley students are always open to new challenges and are willing to strive to improve."
