"Franklin Academy High School is a great school for academics and those who prefer a smaller classroom setting. The teachers overall are great and friendly; most are willing to help students out when they need assistance and are flexible with before/after school help. The clubs and activities are pretty good but there is not as many clubs and activities compared to a larger school. Resources wise the school could not do a better job. Every classroom has a 60" Flatscreen television used for educational learning and is linked with Apple T.V. Each student is provided with a student iPad and most of the work is done on the iPad. There is no cafeteria at FA, everyone is expected to bring their own lunch or they can order lunch offline from one of the provided caterers. Caterers such as Moes, Chickfila, Papa Johns, Subway, and Panera Bread."

"Good experience! Well prepared for college ( engineering). The leadership opportunities in clubs were helpful in getting into colleges. The senior project was great to show leadership and writing skills and presentation confidence. Going to Imagineers at Disney was once in a lifetime experience.Faculty care about your success and provide mentorship. Math classes allow for AP placement into the college level. English writing courses prepare you for MLA format in college and I even had to assist other students who he no experience with MLA."

"Overall, Franklin Academy is a great school. It is a very technology based school which has its cons and pros. Most of the teachers are doing a phenomenal job and are always offering help outside of school. The iPad privilege keeps students organized. Besides all of the great things FA offers, I wish we were closer as a student body. We are a small school, but we are so divided."

"Franklin Academy is not for he weak minded. This school really tries to push its students to do they best they can and try their hardest. Most classes are a challenge. But challenges are not a bad thing. Yes, I am stressed but I have also learned a lot about myself. I have really pushed myself with my work ethic and time management. I have taken control of my grades by putting my best efforts into studying and preparing for exams. The best thing about Franklin Academy is that they will reward you and help you if you put forth the effort to do well. My teachers have really encouraged me and are there to answer any questions I have about assignments. They offer study sessions for exams and will go over exams that I did not score well on to help me understand what I did wrong. The teachers want to help you understand if you are willing to ask for help. I am challenged everyday, so I learn something new everyday."

"I hate this school. Many people here hate this school. Yesterday I went to the coffee shop and someone noticed my FA hoodie and apologized to me for having to endure this experience. I am an average student in the lower part to middle of my class. I'm in the lower part solely due to the fact the school is highly competitive and we have literally 20 valedictorians in this years senior class. Overall, the school sucks. It is mentally draining and physically exhausting. It has induced depression and anxiety for many of its students. The reviews that are so great do not represent the school. If you plan to go to Duke, UNC Chapel Hill, or any high ranked school, then this is the school for you. This is not the school for the majority of people. If I went to a public school I would have been much, much more successful as a student. There's also no cafeteria, school nurse or anything of that sort."
