"I have attended Durham School of the Arts since the sixth grade, and I am now a rising senior. Durham School of the Arts (DSA) is a high school experience unlike any other. The student body and the faculty are so accepting of everyone, and do their best to make your time spent at DSA remarkable. Durham School of the Arts is rigorous in academics alongside the arts. Many graduates have told me that going to DSA has immensely prepared them for college. Here at DSA there is something for everyone. I don't regret choosing DSA for my middle and high school education. I give my school five stars!"

"I enjoyed the atmosphere of Durham School of the Arts. Almost everyone there is accepting and encouraging. At this school I have felt like the students there are always being pushed to challenge themselves and to learn more about the surrounding community."

"It's so much fun. The teachers are awesome and very creative with their lessons and the students are great too! It's so different from other high schools. There are so many fun classes like game design, 3D art and photography that I enjoyed. I had the best high school experience at that school."

"Durham School of the Arts provides an open, diverse setting for students. The teachers (that I know of) are usually happy to help me with problems I'm having in their classes. I've made friends with people of many different races with different political views. At DSA there is a program called "Power Lunch." Students who are making below a C must attend tutoring for the class/classes they are doing poorly in during lunch; they can work on that class's homework or late work in a place where teachers can assist them. Once they are making a 70% grade or higher, the students can go back to eating lunch with their friends."
