"Great school that puts in countless effort to ensure that each student gets the attention and time they need to grow for college. for past few years, they have started a trend that cannot be ignored; 100 percent of the graduation seniors have been accepted into at least one 4 year college/university. That speaks for itself."

"Attending KIPP:Gaston College Preparatory starting in 8th grade this experience has helped me grown not only as a person, but as a learner. Attending this school has shown me the administration of the school really want you to succeed in life by actually motivate you to want to graduate high school and attend a college of your choice. Being a proud member of the Pride of 2016 and making the choice to stay back an extra year has shown me and others that I would do whatever it takes to further my education to the best of my ability. By working with my teachers I pushed my self into a position that I never seen myself being in even though, you attend school from 8 am to 5 pm it sets you up for a normal college student schedule and also increases your work load with the 10 page essays and presentations so when you enter college nothing will be new to you it would all be a breeze."

"I love the way KIPP prepares me for college; there's no handholding in the high school. Everyone is taught the same preparedness and the same responsibilities. Everyone is also equally encouraged to apply to colleges even if we, as the students, think it's a little out of our reach."
