"Central is an old high school but the staff is working hard to improve the school. The school has many devoted and new teachers. Central has a lot of school spirit and support from the community."

"From attending Central Cabarrus High School all of my four years in high school, I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. I loved the school spirit we had my freshman year (we were very good at football that year), the teachers were really nice, and I met some of the best people ever there. There is a lot of diversity there, but not everyone gets along (like most schools). I truly enjoyed my time there!"

"I attended Central Cabarrus High School for all four years of my high school career. During my time at Central I participated in clubs and activities such as Drama Club, Speech & Debate, and Orchestra. There has been a lot of progress made at Central, especially during my junior and senior years. The school is getting better little by little but is by no means an amazing place."

"School is focused on student success and teachers are directly involved in clubs and activities to promote learning and furthering education beyond high school."

"As a STEM student in this school, I think our situation could be better. The teachers are very friendly and most are interested in helping you succeed. The guidance counsellors are a little lackluster and don't really push you to do more or better. The school itself is old and a little dirty, the freshman hallway stinks. The principal sucks and we're so overcrowded it isn't even funny, teachers and principals have considered having us follow the same path during class changes in the same direction regardless of where you need to go in order to create more fluidity. Sports culture is pretty good, in terms of football and basketball, but for most of the other sports there is no interest. Theater and drama are very popular and they put on about three plays a year. We've had several shooter threats from students and even a girl bringing a gun to school and we have numerous fights every year so the safety of the school is questionable."
