"The quality of teachers at Highland School of Technology is one of the best because the teachers actually care about the students and help them to be successful in life. The teaching style of the engineering pathway in Highland is very hands on we have a lab that we work in. The teacher's knowledge of the subject they are teaching is very phenomenal. The interest in students is heightened due to the fact that the teachers are friendly. The communication lines are open for teachers in the morning and the afternoon. Teachers have a consistent and easy way of grading."

"The teachers at Highland are very approachable and intelligent. The scheduling process is really easy, all you have to do is circle the courses that you want to take. The counselors try diligently to get you your first class. The workload is moderately heavy. Popular classes include honors classes and AP classes."

"Student involvement in the school is very good and many students fill up the available spots in many clubs. The only peer pressure in this school is people telling you to get your work done. The acceptance rate at the school in great. There are no challenges in regard to ethnic/racial diversity."

"My experience at this school so far is very good. My favorite experience is walking off the stage after a band performance.Something that makes this school unique is the amount of time and effort going into the school from the teachers, staff, and students. The reason I would choose this school again if I could do it all over is because the environment for the school is great and the teachers and staff are so supportive."

"Since there is a lottery for Highland the student body is very diverse, but that isn't a bad thing because the students learn how to accept people that may not have been in their clique before attending."
