"I love this school because everyone is diverse we have wealthy and poor students. They teachers are amazing like our choir teacher Mrs Mitchell is sick but doesn't let it effect her work ethic."

"While Sun Valley definitely has its flaws, I still don't think I would want to go anywhere else. I've gotten impressions from other schools in the county and I don't think I would fit at another school as well as I do at mine. Like all schools, Sun Valley has its quirks, but I genuinely feel like there are plenty of teachers who care. There are things I would change but there are also things that I absolutely love. It seems to me like Sun Valley doesn't have as many cliques as other schools that I know of, for example, I feel like pretty much everyone in my graduating class knows each other. Counselors here have helped me through tough emotional times, and teachers here have helped me through tough academic times. I can honestly say that I would rather be a student here than anywhere else."

"Another good thing about Sun Valley is that there is a class for pretty much every interest anyone could have. Remember the Holocaust, Parenting and Child Development, Astronomy, Foods, Sports Entertainment, and Creative Writing are just a few examples of the diversity of courses available. I think the curriculum is okay but the execution depends on the teacher, so that can be either really good or really bad. I don't believe that the workload is too much for CP and honors courses, however, I did take AP American History my junior year and often found myself overwhelmed, and I remember feeling that if only I had hda a different teacher, I would be making a much better grade."

"When I compare Sun Valley to the rest of the high schools in the county, I realize how many different types of people go to my school. I don't know what it is about Sun Valley that causes it to be such a melting pot, but there really is almost every type of person you can think of. There is good representation for a variety of different races, religions, and sexual orientations, and pretty much everyone is very accepting."

"Some of the teacher teach for the exam and not to inform the students. They don't show how to relate it to the real world."
