"NWSA is a great school for artists of any type! I really love the school and its diversity. NWSA has a great artistic environment. The downside is that sometimes its academics are not as good and it is hard to find extracurriculars other than arts-related things like plays and concerts."

"This school was one of the best choices I've made in a long time, I've made lots of friends and have been able to hone my skills in dance and the visual arts. Everyone at Northwest is super accepting and everyone cares for one another and wants to see you succeed"

"Northwest is a great school for those who are artistically inclined. It's a small school, which makes for a nice environment. However, the small arts feel can limit you in finding a career path. If you're not sure that the arts are for you, a normal school with provide more options in paths in finding a career."

"The atmosphere at Northwest School of the Arts is truly impeccable. The academics are created for the success of all students, and our principal has brought in outstanding teachers. Although each teacher specializes in a subject, they always work above and beyond for their students in any way possible to help them learn the material. This includes, coming in two hours before or after regular school hours to aid in the student's success inside and outside of the classroom. One thing I wish my school had was sports. We do not engage in varsity sports due to the fact that we are an arts-based school. However, all of this can be overlooked because of our welcoming and loving environment to engulf ourselves in the arts, while focusing on our academic achievements."
