"The teachers at this school are amazing. They all care about each students needs and they will never discourage or blow off a student no matter what. They are willingly to work all of their students and overlook anything. It's obvious that they care and only wants what is best for the students. They will also make time for students, their needs, and concerns. They are really great teachers, are very knowledgeable about what they teach, use a variety of teaching styles and truly care for all students."

"Since I am in the Duplin Early College program I have been given the opportunity to take college classes every semester since the ninth grade. Unlike most, I already have college experience, I know what is expected of me and what to do. The most important thing I was taught was go beyond the instructor's expectations. I need to push myself beyond what I normally do. Basically make classwork, homework, and projects a challenge. Instructors will accept the bare minimum but it does not mean that I have to stop there. It's better if I show them what I am capable of doing. It shows that I am a hard worker and I am looking for a challenge. I can do more and I want to do more. My high school has prepared me for the real world by requiring all seniors to do a internship. Since I plan on pursing a criminal justice career, logically I decided to choose the Explorer's Program that teaches young adults the basics of the criminal justice career. I can honestly say that my school has prepared me for college and the real world."

"Everyone is required to participate in a study group, teacher's ad their curriculum are not to hard but challenging all the while, everyone's schedule is good and does not conflict majorly with their college class and the workload is manageable."
