"My overall experience at Emsley A. Laney was good. I was introduced to a college readiness program called STAE or AVID, and ever since then I've been ready to experience the college life. Even though it has a lot of construction going on, Laney has a nice campus. The only problems I had with this school is how the cafeteria is set up and how overcrowded it is."

"My experience regarding Laney High School has been a fairly ok one. While the building itself is sore to the eye, it's acedics and sports are big attractions to the school."

"It's an alright school. you can tell that history has been made at it. Michael Jordan is a big part of the school. the bathrooms aren't all that clean bu hey that's at most highschools."

"I love that Laney high school gave me a chance to try new things while still giving me a good education. I got the chance to become involved in clubs and sports, and made life-long friends from it all. The teachers are always pushing us to do our best and I'm always proud to call myself a Laney Buccaneer. If I had to change one thing about my school, I would change the entranceway and exit. It causes traffic with cars and buses to become backed up everyday, especially with our major problem of overpopulation. It doesn't help that there are 2 entrances for our school and only one exit between Laney High and Trask Middle School right next to us."

"I love Laney High School. My entire family attended this high school also. The classes are challenging and the teachers are encouraging. They have prepared me for my journey to college. I want to be a nurse, and all of my teachers have encouraged my goal of achieving my degree. I want to be the first to graduate from college in my family, and my teachers are pushing me to fulfill my dream."
