"Havelock High School is an all-around decent school. The AP classes are challenging and exciting, but the school spirit and opportunities are limited. The school has low to average bullying rates and great administration that try to give us a good experience. The guidance counselors are always ready to help, and they have helped me over the years to become a better student and person."

"All four years have been okay. They are getting better over time, because no school is perfect. I believe we are on a path to help prepare students for college. Wish they were a little more involved with helping students to receive scholarships that can't afford college."

"Havelock High School is filled with school spirit. Every Friday night is a time where the whole town come together to watch the football game. I personally do not think that this school prepared me for college. I moved to Havelock after my freshmen year, and I remember crying because Havelock high school didn't offer a wide range of classes. The guidance counselors are most of the time not very helpful, and they rarely do anything to get the students prepared for college. I think if the high school offered more classes, and took their time to get students ready for colleges, then it would make the school better."

"Good school and teachers, but there's a lot of bugs and the cafeteria food is not very good. The students are welcoming and the sports (especially football) are a must see. The administrative team is kind and respectful. As a student, the electronics rule is stupid and the dress code is a little overkill, but I understand why we need to do it. Not every high school student is mature enough to handle a little lenience. The teachers are very encouraging and for the most part, they take care of their students. Most of the things the students complain about is out of their control."
