"I looked forward to going to school each day. The teachers were open and easy to talk to. The environment is very diverse and majority of the staff are accepting of LGBT+ students."

"Most of the teachers are really nice. You can chat with the friendly janitors, too. There is almost no bullying. The campus is one of the cleanest. It's a pretty great school, minus a few things."

"A larger selection of classes would be nice. Some teacher just give busy work while others take the time to help students. The food is terrible. There are many clubs and extra-curriculars offered."

"This school is very hands off in helping students. They believe students should be independent and this attitude extends to school related paperwork, studies, assistance with college. Don't depend on school for any kind of assistance unless you are ready to kick up a fuss. Many teachers are burned out while others only help top tier students they know personally. My kid took an IB class where the teacher told her to read the book, teach herself. They don't even allow you to take a book home so it shows you the level of education here."

"I transferred as a student from Richlands, and was accepted very quickly. The IB program helped me understand what I want to do in life, but some of the teachers sometimes don't teach and make you teach yourself. They're there for help, but not so much for actual lessons. Sometimes that's the IB curriculum, to let us figure it out ourselves, but the hands-off thought process is present in non-IB classes and it can cause problems with students and grades."
