"If you are a preppy person, you will fit in fine. If you are different in any way then you are made fun of and are an outcast. The teachers as a whole are very nice and work for the students. Some of them who run the school, though, show a lot of favoritism so the rich ones can do whatever they want. Most of the students are very disrespectful to the teachers and they can get away with it. You can join whatever club or sport that you want, but a lot of times favoritism is shown there too. The campus is really safe and you don't even need to put a lock on your locker because no one will steal anything. Its a lot better than the other schools in the area."

"I have not seen where every student is treated the same. You see a lot of favoritism. The coaching staff is one of the worst in this area. Each player is NOT treated the same. If they like you, then you get to have an active part in the sport. If they do not like you then your are not encouraged and are not allowed to participate even if you have the talent for the sport. I am VERY disappointed in the coaching staff with the exception of one or two coaches. My son has been discouraged instead of encouraged for his entire high school career."

"This school is so small that you are going to make every sport, group, anything, you're on the team if you want to be. It's safer than the public school in our town by leaps and bounds. We don't even use locks on our lockers, we all trust each other. Richard Winn is just the place to be if you can't handle large crowds or feeling like you don't have a voice or wanting more opportunities to be apart of more activities. Sure at larger school you have more opportunities like being in a choir but that does not mean you're going to be on the choir. At Richard Winn, you do whatever you want to do. I'm the senior beta club treasurer, senior class treasurer, varsity girl basketball player, yearbook editor, junior marshal. How can one student be all that at a larger school? You can't, so if you want to be apart of more and not blend in the background, Richard Winn is for you."

"My advanced placement US history teacher last year was the reason I got a 4 out of 5 on the AP US History exam. She also goes above and beyond and helps my class with prom and graduation even though she isn't our class sponsor. I also have the same teacher three classes in a row, I take a photography/art class, and then two yearbook classes. She puts in so much effort into those classes, she is so inspiring. She also is in charge of the school newspaper. Some newer teachers aren't really great though. Like my English and calculus teacher, they make me not want to learn."
