"Woodmont High School is in a rural setting in the south so there are some opinions associated with that, but for the most part the staff tries to make sure that everyone feels accepted. The student body also helps along with that as well. We are very diverse from having race minorities to social minorities, but from what I can tell most people accept the socially diverse people. I can not speak for the minorities, but from an outside looking in view I believe that some people do not accept diversity, but there are others who do that protect the diverse groups of people at Woodmont."

"The teachers that are employed at Woodmont High School are very respectable and knowledgeable. Many teachers go through the notes of the lesson with the students and then proceed to give real-world examples about the lesson. The teachers are very understanding when it comes to a student needing extra help. This does not mean free handouts or excuses, but more the teachers will be available for extra help. Communication between teachers and students is key to get a positive response to education. The communication at Woodmont High School is varied through websites, email, mail, and phone calls between students and teachers to get information out there. The teachers at Woodmont High School have made my personal High School experience a memorable one through an interest in my education and future."

"Woodmont High School is an International Baccalaureate school and that holds some weight. There are a variety of classes such as College Prep, Honors, Advanced Placement, and International Baccalaureate. This allows students of all intelligence to get the education they need. The guidance try very hard to equip every ones needs which is a challenge, but it gets done. I am a very goal oriented person so my classes reflect that. The staff is very understanding about your education and what is best for you. They will try to work with you and give you opportunities to improve until the day you leave high school. Depending on the classes you take also depends on the workload you will endure. Even if you take Advanced Placement classes versus College Prep classes, the workload usually depends on the type of class and teacher. In other words, they're not going to give you something someone on your level can't handle. Popular classes would be any of the arts such as Band or Theatre, but Psychology is one of the most popular electives."

"I would hands down always choose Woodmont High School as my school of choice. What makes Woodmont unique is the variety and acceptance that every sport, visual arts, and other extra curricular activities receive. Woodmont Sports include volleyball, football, golf, bass fishing, lacrosse, tennis, baseball, softball, basketball, cross country, soccer, track and many more which includes a wide variety of students. Our theater department, award winning, does a fantastic job of including a variety of students and personalities and creating a life changing experience on stage. We also have the Woodmont Band of Pride which places in competitions every year as well. I personally am in Academic Clubs such as Nation Beta Club, National Honors Society, and Mu Alpha Theta which award students with a higher interest in academics. All of these things are possible because of the great leadership that the students, teachers, and staff all provide creating a wonderful experience of high school."
