"Seneca High School was an extraordinary place to go to high school. The school has a diverse mixture of races and wealth so that each student interacts with those who are the same race and wealth bracket equally as much as they interact with students in the opposite wealth bracket and opposite race. The English department is particularly strong being lead by Ms. Cook, Ms. Williams, and the rest her are equally as good just less in tenure. The AP courses and classes are very well and really do a good job of preparing the students for college."

"I like the high school a lot. All of the staff here at Seneca are very helpful. We have great academics, a great sports program, and much more. There is nothing that I would change about the school."

"As a senior at Seneca High I can say that the teachers and administration do as much as possible for us. Though sometimes it seems that administration isn't doing enough to help. I still enjoy the atmosphere of the school and everyone has there place they like to be."

"This was my first experience in a public school. It was also my freshman year in high school. Some classes were interesting to me, but others were not challenging. I had one class I really had to work for- and that was Honors Biology. All of my others had watered down curriculum, and I didn't learn anything new. There was a lot of violence and drugs, more so than I expected; and neither the teachers nor the administration did anything about it. I had one teacher I was able to trust, Dr. Miriam Johnson (who has left the school as well). She was the only one that cared about my academic success. Also, the administration did not care about my experience, nor myself as a student. Pamela Edgar-Crain was the only one on any of the administration staff that cared about the students. Those two are the only ones that allowed me to make it through the year. I am now home-schooled and do not ever intend to re-enroll in a public school, nor do I advise it to any of my peers."
