"This school offers many ways for each child to shine. We celebrate academic achievements as well as extra curricular activities. From traditional sports, to literary, to drama, shooting events, quiz bowl, reading bowl, spelling bees, etc., etc., Westwood encourages participation. The school also encourages leadership and development of the entire child rather than solely focusing on grades and standardized test scores."

"Teachers working at Westwood do so because they love the students. It is not for the pay or the retirement plan. If you work there, it is because you have the best interest of the school and students at heart. Westwood is a college prep school and; therefor, can seem difficult to some students. Teachers typically go above and beyond to make sure all students are successful. Teachers are available to parents not only when they are at school but also when they are out supporting the kids at after school events."

"I have had two children graduate from Westwood. Both are successful students at the University of Georgia. My third child is a sophomore at the school. There are many ways to be successful at Westwood, academically and otherwise. Without a doubt, this school is the best in the area!"

"Very good school where all students have a lot of opportunities to be successful. The faculty are very dedicated to their job and are willing to help the students to do well. The students have a wide range of experiences that enable them to learn things that go on outside of our small town."
