"Though the Florida Virtual School Full-Time Program may be considered unconventional, and it isn't as well known we have a plethora of successful students, hard working staff, and some of the best events and clubs available. We even have a National Honor Society of which I am proud to be a part of. We don't have bullies, we don't have fights. We aren't perfect, there are little squabbles or misdemeanors in Live Lessons but beyond that I have had no troubles. Only once have I met a sub-standard teacher and her obstacle was a surplus of students and a lazy assistant. Aside from those minor pitfalls, I would recommend FLVS-FT to all students, not just those who aren't doing so well in ordinary schools or have an ailment making regular school life difficult. Anybody and everybody is welcome and I can attest to the fact that the only reason one would fail in FLVS would be a student's own laziness."

"There is a lot of different ethnicities at this school and we all enjoy helping each other out especially when we are in a Live Lesson with the teacher. The teachers are also really friendly and they want you to do your best so even if you did not so great on an assignment they will let you improve it so you can get a better grade. I love virtual school a lot better than a traditional high school. Since I did get accepted to college early (Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University) I was offered multiple projects with NASA and other prospects that were to start in the summer of 2015. Being on virtual school allows me to finish up my classes by my deadline (April 17) so I can attend college in May of 2015."

"There is balance all throughout the school. For me, the workload is perfect. The way the classes are scheduled in is great, and I can work ahead as far as I please. The teachers are there when I need them and the help they give is excellent."

"The teachers are absolutely awesome! They make learning fun and use games to help student s learn better. Each teacher has their own way of teaching. Some use screenshots from the lessons to go further in depth on a topic. Some use online simulations to add an interactive way of learning, which is better for me as a kinesthetic learner. Some use pop quizzes and reviews to make sure students understand the material enough to where they can answer in a split second. Most incorporate all styles in order to fully please the learning minds of all the students. The teachers, like the guidance counselors, also have office hours. These vary, but most the time it's from 8am-8pm. We get an hour each week with each teacher (depending on the classes assigned). Each teacher has many, many students, sometimes ranging from 200-300. This can cause grading to be less often than others, but for me the grading is smooth. I don't want the teacher to rush and I know that they will get to it as soon as they can. The feedback is also very helpful, as it points out what I may want to go over again. The reason I rate "It's the best" is because it is. The fluency of the teachers is great knowing how many assignments they have to grade."

"Florida Virtual School has given me the flexibility to do things that i want to do outside of school while still keeping my learning at or ahead of current standards. I have enjoyed this school and would continue if it where to extend into college/"
