"Godby has a great school spirit for the mmost part. There are always students who don't want to make the best out of school and they just view school as school but Godby has much to offer students to be involved and have a great experience. Our sports teams dominate year after year. Lunch times are fun and festive. I enjoyed my years at Amos P. Godby High School. The only thing my high school was missing was tradition in homecoming dances and pep."

"Godby High School has a loyal administration and staff and houses generations and generations of Godby Cougars year after year. Most teachers are held in high regard of their students and especially for the students who have been positively impacted and influenced by their teacher."

"The majority of teachers at my school are friendly and approachable. The mainstream of teachers have vast knowledge about the subject being taught and share a genuine interest in our betterment."

"Most of the teachers are pretty good teachers but they are not always available to meet with outside of class for extra help. Our school also pays more attention to athletics than academics so, we don't have as many opportunities as other schools"
